Payday ? Nah …. it’s the resigning that I like the best.
Obviously the pay is nice and that’s why you come to work – unless you happen to have one of those mythical jobs that you actually enjoy – but a resignation at the end of a job represents something special : a new direction.
So, what’s the direction this time ? Due South – with a slight detour of course. We’re off to New Zealand to live, but have a whole load of stuff to take care of before we leave. It’s little things like say goodbye to family and friends, empty our house, send everything in a big container to the other side of the world, squeeze in a holiday and leave a note for the milkman.
